In a game in which Tyson Chandler reached a record high in points and rebounds in this season with 17 and 25, respectively, and Dirk Nowitzki scored 15 of his 30 points (also a record value in the season) in the fourth quarter and extension, the Dallas Mavericks went on to win the game against the New York Knicks 109-102, with the Knicks playing without its most important star, Carmelo Anthony.
